I'M BACK!!!!!!

Several of my dear friends have been giving me grief over not posting to my blog in months...well I kind of lost my creative mojo for a few months but thanks to the inspiration and love of a few good friends..one in particular ...and u know who u are;) I feel my creative juices flowing again... So here's a few pics of what i've been up to lately....pages and cards to follow!

A few new pages !!!!

This is the acrylic album that I have been procrastinating about ... I don't know why because they are SO easy... I just obsess over making everythink perfect so yes it took me awhile... This one only took less than a half of a level 2 paper pack... plenty left over for more 12x12 pages and a few cards! I especially love that I can tie tons of ribbon to the jump rings ( yes, I am a ribbon junky) I actually tied more on after I took these photos! My kiddos loved looking at it and playing with all of the ribbon and sparkles. Normally, I don't like using anything that can't be put into a page protector but I am getting over that anxiety the more I work with 3-D items... I just make sure no one has peanut butter and jelly fingers before they touch:)

LOVIN' the new Large Coluzzle Circles...

I am really behind... these are from last summer.... couldn't resist the watermelon stamp set though....you can't see it well but I put a little liquid glass with some prisma glitter sprinkled on for a little bling.... watermelons do sparkle a little, after all!! BTW none of my kids like watermelon... Michael tolerates it ... the dog loves it but I wasn't fast enough to get a photo of that!

From the Stardust paper pack... love those little Flexi Labels!! The letters are just hodgepodge color ready alphas that I , yes... left WHITE!

Although not a "wintery" paper pack... the Paper Garden Level 2 pack was a perfect match to Nora's snowsuit so ..... forgot to put on the snowflakes before I took this photo..ooops! You get the idea though:)

I HAD to do it!

As most of you know by now, my little Nora is featured on the inside cover of the new Close To My Heart idea book! Only one of her photos is seen clearly, but hey she has the whole page to herself! Of course, CTMH wasn't about to send me the sample that they made, so I had to make my own! It features the My Creations Cube, Creative Basics Emporium collection, Emporium level 2 paper pack, Boutique Borders and Dream Wishes stamp sets, as well as Dimentional Elements Simple alpha and a few clear sparkles. Inks include Bamboo, Vineyard Berry, Crystal Blue, Buttercup and Sweet Leaf. Since Michael felt left out I had to put 2 photos with him in them on 2 sides...

Hi all... I am in the process of learning about this blog thing, so please be patient with me as I am not the most computer savy girl out there:) My goal of having a blog was to share a little bit of my crazy life with my friends as well as share some of my scrapbooking/cardmaking skills I have picked up as a Close To My Heart consultant. I love to discover new techniques in scrapbooking but may not always be able to share it will all my friends so this is a way to stay in touch and maybe share my obession with the art! Like a lot of scrapbookers out there, I mainly scrap my 3 cuties, Michael, Nora and Gillian but I am trying to also include a little about myself and my husband so the kids have a clue who we were and about someday(when they actually might care!) My plan is to do a weekly "Stampin Sunday Spotlight" blip so stay tuned!
